Terms of Service
Policy
Operational terms for creators, buyers and platform users of Secretfile.
Official information about Secretfile's policies and platform practices.
By accessing or using Secretfile, whether as a visitor, guest, registered user, uploader or buyer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately. Continued use of the website constitutes binding acceptance of the then-current terms.
Secretfile provides tooling for private file delivery and monetized unlocks. The operator does not pre-screen, endorse or assume liability for user-uploaded files.
The operator reserves the right to disable, delete or restrict access to any file or account when reports, legal obligations, abuse indicators or operational risk require it.
Uploaders may only share content they own or are legally authorized to distribute. Infringing, privacy-violating, malicious or otherwise prohibited material is not allowed.
Repeated policy breaches may result in immediate takedown, balance holds, payout blocks, account suspension or permanent banning.
Uploaders remain solely responsible for the files they upload, publish, sell or share through Secretfile, including their legality, accuracy, ownership, permissions and content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Secretfile and its operator are not responsible or liable for any loss, corruption, deletion, unauthorized access, unavailability or other damage affecting uploaded files or their contents. The service does not guarantee permanent storage, uninterrupted availability or recovery of any file.
Uploaders must keep their own current backups of all uploaded files. Using Secretfile for file storage or delivery does not transfer responsibility for data preservation to the operator.
Unlock purchases are optional actions initiated by the buyer. Once access has been granted, the payment is final and refunds are not provided.
Revenue split defaults to 70% uploader / 30% platform for card payments and 75% uploader / 25% platform for crypto payments.
If a chargeback is received, the linked creator balance may be reduced by the original revenue and any external bank or processor penalties tied to the dispute.
Depending on the bank or processor, chargeback-related penalties can commonly range from 20 GBP to 50 GBP and may be deducted from the uploader ledger.
Using the website means you agree to these terms.
Only registered members can upload.
Payments are final after voluntary unlock.
Reported files may be removed without prior warning.
